Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) along with Humboldt University (Germany), National Law University (Delhi) and Azim Premji University (Bengaluru) have secured a Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) funded project on “Legal Cultures in India and Europe”. DAAD will fund the collaboration between these partner institutions for the next four years. The project involves fully funded student exchange, and faculty and research scholar workshops. German PhD students will be visiting JGLS between February and April 2020 as the first student exchange of the project. Students from JGLS will subsequently visit Humboldt University the same year. Professor Pritam Baruah is the project coordinator at JGLS along with Professor Philipp Dann, Professor Aparna Chandra and Professor Arun Thiruvengadam at the other partner institutions. They are co-organising a Young Scholar’s Workshop in Berlin from 17-21 February 2020 where three young scholars from each partner institution along with senior academics will present their research.
