Crypto shows the cost of weak governance: FTX raised more than $1.8 billion from equity investors before U.S. regulators alleged fraud. Central bank digital currencies show that new money needs willing users: the digital rupee (e\u20b9) in circulation fell to \u20b9771.7 crore by March 2026. Bank crises show how fast confidence can vanish: depositors pulled more than $40 billion from Silicon Valley Bank in one day.
