Monthly Spotlight : JGU shortlisted in two categories of the Times Higher Education Asia Awards 2019
JGU has been shortlisted in two categories of the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia Awards 2019, International Strategy of the Year and Leadership and Management Team of the Year.
In its application to THE, JGU highlighted its distinctive approach to university leadership, including youth, internationally qualified academic administrators, innovative institutional functions; a striving for gender parity, consistent engagement with Indian higher education policy; and dynamic decision making.
JGU also highlighted its international outreach strategy which comprises visits by the leadership team to leading universities and potential partner institutions across the world; participation in international conferences, academic events, and dialogues; and collaborations with leading universities across the world. JGU’s international collaborations take up to 10 different forms: student exchange; faculty exchange; study abroad; dual degree programmes; summer and winter schools; joint teaching; joint research; joint conferences; joint publications; and joint executive education programmes
