The JGU Book Club was founded in the year 2014 by Prof. Nisha Nair, and has evolved to be a part of the Literary and Fine Arts Society at O.P. Jindal Global University. It is an exclusive club that promotes love for reading, literature, and creative expression. The club holds periodic book discussions, Author's talks, and panel discussions. In the year 2016, it received an award for 'The Most Promising Initiative' on the University Day. Over the years, the JGU Book Club has been a site of various cultural and literary events in the university. In 2017, the Book Club initiated JGU's first literary festival 'Sahityam'.
