Biography

Prof. Nitesh Bansal in his role as the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) of the University is responsible for all matters related to the academic and non – academic Statutory and Regulatory compliances of the University.

Dr. Nitesh is a qualified Physiotherapists with Ph.D. as his highest qualification and has been involved with various professional association/ bodies at national level and international level. As part of his job profile – he has worked as the Founding Registrar of G. D. Goenka University, Gurgaon & Rishihood University, Sonepat and also as Additional Registrar at the O. P. Jindal Global University, Sonepat, in the past.

With his rich experience of academic administration in new-age Universities, Prof. Bansal facilitates in building a sustainable institutional mechanism by ensuring compliances with all Statutory and Regulatory Compliances of the University in a comprehensive manner. He has over 18 years of vast experience in internationalization; developing & maintaining high standards in imparting higher education & training; developing statutes, ordinances, regulations & guidelines for conducting various functions of the University; Apply and Co-ordinate the process of approval from various statutory bodies/authorities.

He was nominated as a member of the Physiotherapy Central Curriculum Task Force constituted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India (2015-17) and also had the opportunity to be part of Sectorial Working Group (SWG) of National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) to develop the manual for Physiotherapy & Allied Health Science institutes (2018-19). He has been actively involved as an Expert with various Universities as the member of their Board of Studies; Professional Council and bodies like NAAC as peer team assessor. Recipient of grants for Capacity Building in Indian Higher Education under Tunning India project funded by prestigious Erasmus + programme of European Union (2017-2019); Linnaeus Palme International Exchange Programme funded by Sweden Government (2010-11) and Group Study Exchange of Rotary International (2009), Dr. Bansal is also the Honorary Secretary of Society of Indian Physiotherapists (SIP) since 2015.

As the Chief Compliance Officer, he works closely with Deans, Directors, and Heads of various Administrative Units towards fulfilment of mission of the University.
