Biography

Prof. (Dr.) Kshitija Bansal is a distinguished Physiotherapist and academic leader with nearly two decades of experience in teaching, Patient care, and research. She earned her PhD in Physiotherapy, with a focus on fitness and nutritional status in elementary school children.  She completed her Master's degree in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy from RGUHS, Bangalore in 2025. She currently serves at the Jindal School of Public Health & Human Development.  Previously, she has been associated with prestigious institutions such as the University of Delhi, Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil University (Pune), and Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Sciences (MRIIRS).

Dr. Bansal actively collaborates with government and regulatory bodies, including the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the Delhi Council for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy (DCPTOT), serving in capacities such as subject expert and inspector. She has led and contributed to research projects funded by universities and professional associations, demonstrating her dedication to innovation and scholarship in physiotherapy. 

A frequent contributor to national and international scientific forums, Prof. Bansal has served as a speaker, reviewer, program committee member, mentor, and presenter. Her research interests encompass physical fitness in children, women’s health, health promotion, and injury rehabilitation and prevention. She is deeply engaged in community outreach initiatives focused on health promotion and preventive care.

Her academic portfolio includes over 25 publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals, four patents (two published and two granted), and four copyrights. A strong advocate for technology and innovation in healthcare, she has been serving on the Governing Body of the Society of Indian Physiotherapists since 2021. Dr. Bansal has successfully guided four PhD scholars to completion and continues to mentor emerging researchers and clinicians. She is committed to global collaboration and knowledge exchange.
