Vikash Vaibhav is an Assistant Professor at JSLH. Prior to this he was associated with IWWAGE, New Delhi, and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics (BASE), Bengaluru. He has completed his doctoral thesis from Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai. Prior to his doctoral pursuit he received his engineering degree from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. He also worked as an Assistant Manager at Tata Motors Limited, Jamshedpur.
Dr. Vaibhav is passionate about important developmental questions. His various interest include questions of regional disparity, poverty & inequality, rural industrialization, education, discrimination. His core competency lies is in India’s unit-record dataset, and advanced statistical techniques.
In his leisure time, he loves to read non-fiction books, and listen to Ghazals. He has participated, and completed, three full marathons (Mumbai).
