Guest Lecture on the notion of time in popular science fiction by Prof. Tobias Toll.
Prof. Toll teaches physics at IIT Delhi. Beyond high energy physics of fundamental particles, he nurtures a long-time interest in the philosophy of what it means to be human in a modern world. One way he has explored this is by co-teaching university courses on modernity, the history of science, and on the making of the atomic bomb together with historians and social scientists. He has a PhD from Hamburg University.
