Dr. Rashmi Singh, Assistant Professor at JGU, has written a short comment on the last Delhi Assembly election results and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)  for the Economic & Political Weekly(EPW). She titled her commentary as “Delhi Assembly Elections 2025: The Aam Aadmi Party Learns to Lose”

'Despite facing a tough election, AAP has had a noteworthy run in the city, being the only party that has supported education and healthcare through an almost 40% allocation in the government budget for the same. It is clear that though AAP may have been voted out of power, there remains an attraction for its people-minded, not-easily-ruffled, and practical brand of politics around the provision of everyday utilities and welfare, a “Delhi model of delivery.” But the party’s depoliticised discourse in politics cannot float this feature any longer on its own, as political strategy cannot be just tactics for better governance bereft of ideology.'
