Biography

Prof Singh has more than 17 years of experience in teaching, research and consultancy. He has also worked as Consultant for the World Bank Group, Washington D.C and Asian Development Bank, Manilla, United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) Bangkok, Thailand, European Commission Brussels and United Nations Wider University.

Prof Singh has worked with FORE School of Management, New Delhi, Engineering Export Promotion Council under Ministry of Commerce and Industry and CUTS International, Jaipur.  Prof Singh was involved in various committees of the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) such as Standard Input and Output Norms, Export Promotion for Capital Goods and Trade Policy.

Prof Singh has published research papers in leading journals such as Legal Issues of Economic Integration, Journal of World Trade, Journal of International Food & Agribusiness Marketing, Economic and Political Weekly, Journal of International Development, International Trade Journal, Global Customs and Trade Journal and Resources Policy.

Dr Singh is Visiting Fellow to Korean Institute of International Economy, Government of South Korea and a recipient of Asia Pacific Trade Facilitation Forum 2017, Trade Facilitation Award of Asian Development Bank and United Nations ESCAP. His opinion piece often features in leading newspapers and online portals such as Hindu Business Line, The Secretariat, Business Today and Business World.
