Dr. Kumud Ranjan completed his Ph.D. at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His Ph.D. engaged with the writing of W.E.B. Du Bois, Hannah Arendt and B.R. Ambedkar. He was a visiting scholar in the Department of Sociology at the University of Cambridge.
