Monthly Spotlight: JSIA launches B.A. (Hons.) Political Science programme

Jindal School of International Affairs launched a new B.A. (Hons.) Political Science programme on 18 April 2020.

 

The launch of the programme was followed by a public lecture on “Elections and Opinion Polls: Understanding Politics from the Grassroots”, delivered by Mr. Pradeep Bhandari, CEO of Jan Ki Baat, Psephologist & Author of the Book ‘Modi Mandate 2019: Dispatches from Ground Zero’ and a discussion on “Reflections on the Importance of Studying Political science” by JSIA faculty members.

 

The B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science degree is a three-year under-graduate programme that is dedicated to the study of political evolution of the world we live in. Political science is the study of theory and practice of politics that involves description and analysis of all political activities, political thoughts and political phenomena. This degree aims to train students in all forms and manifestations of politics in arenas from local, state, national and international levels. The first batch of the programme will commence classes on 1 August 2020.
