Malvika Chhatwani is a fellow of the Indian Institute of Management Indore. She has done her B.com. from Saurashtra University and MBA from Gujarat Technology University (GTU). Prior to joining the Ph.D. program in 2016, she has served as a faculty member of the MBA program at GTU for one year. She was also a Maths teacher in one of the reputed schools in Gujarat, and her total teaching experience spans more than three years. Her teaching interest lies in financial accounting, managerial accounting, financial management, behavioral economics, and household finance. Malvika has an interest in understanding financial decision-making. Her research in household finance focuses on financial literacy, financial optimism, and financial wellbeing. She has published papers in reputed international peer-reviewed journals, and her research has been presented in prestigious conferences. She received a grant of $150 from the IMR Doctoral Consortium at IIM Bangalore for presenting one of her dissertation essays. Malvika served as a reviewer for the Academy of Management Annual Meetings and several journals.
