Selection Process

Jindal School of Art and Architecture (JSAA) is a premium architecture school in India. Our admissions are highly competitive and you to follow the steps mentioned below carefully in order to join our programs.

JSAA Application Form Review:

Your application form to Jindal Global University is the first communication/information shared with the college. The application form is available at you will be charged Rs. 3000/- as the application fee for JSAA. The school has a rolling admission process where early applicants have benefits of early calls for interviews and securing admission as there are only 40 seats in the B.Arch program.

Personal Statement:

An applicant needs to submit a personal statement of about 300 words. This is a short, reflective piece where you tell us about yourself and what you think the admissions team needs to know about you. While there is no preferred format, the statement should offer the reader a good sense of your personality. This helps us understand your suitability for the program at JSAA in general and in the selection process towards the scholarships in particular. The statement need not be specific to a programme. You can upload it as a Word Document or PDF in the Document Uploads section.

NATA/ JEE 2 Score:

It is mandatory to submit the NATA/JEE 2 score immediately after the result is announced, this should not be less than 50% ( NATA & JEE 2). You need to ensure that you have qualified or applied to these exams on time. More information about NATA is available at and

Preparing for the above examinations:

It is purely your choice whether to join an external coaching or prepare on your own. A lot of preparation material is available online which could be helpful.

Personal Interview:

After submitting the NATA/JEE 2 scores to us, candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be invited for personal interviews. This is the second stage of your admission process at JSAA. You can appear in the interview through skype or any other digital platform if you are located outside NCR. You can choose to visit the campus too for the interview. All NCR students need to visit the campus for the personal interview.

The personal interview process is managed by two faculty members who assess your  Personality & Attitude, General Awareness, Creative thinking, Subject Knowledge, Communication, Analytical Thinking/Content. As a potential candidate, you will also have the opportunity to interact with the faculty members to discuss any queries that you may have.

The Outcome:

The outcome of the selection process will be shared as a merit list & waiting list and the offer letters will be sent to you via email accordingly.

Fee payment and Provisional Admission:

Applicants accepting the offer need to secure their admission by a deadline mentioned on their letters:

Generally, one has to:
- Accept the provisional offer within 7 days of receipt of the offer letter email by signing and emailing us back a copy of the offer letter.
- Submit the 12th Final Results if available at the time.
- Pay the registration fee Rs, 1,15,000/- to secure the admission
Applicants who decline the offer of admission or do not respond to the offer within a specific period will have their offers declared inactive. To reactivate your application and pay the admission fee, an applicant will need to pay the Rs. 500 as Application Reactivation Fee.

Final offer & Scholarship:

The applicant will receive a Final Offer of Admissions after submitting the required documents, which will be verified and the payment of the full semester fees.
Applicants wishing to apply for scholarship need to submit their documents for consideration at this time.
Your admission will be final after paying the semester and hostel fees.
