She brings a deep cultural sensitivity and contextual approach to her practice, seamlessly bridging traditional knowledge systems with contemporary design thinking. Her expertise spans sustainability, critical thinking, systems and participatory design, and transdisciplinary pedagogy in fashion and design education. In her academic practice, she believes in fostering close collaboration between academia and industry to create realistic, hands-on learning opportunities for students.
Ambika holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education from Nottingham Trent University, UK, and a certification in Online & Hybrid Teaching from Laureate University.
