Manveen Singh is an Associate Professor at Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) and an Assistant Director of the Centre for Intellectual Property and Technology Law (CIPTEL). Manveen's primary areas of interest are Intellectual Property Law and the Law of Evidence. He's currently carrying out research in the area of Intellectual Property (IP) and Competition as a part of the Jindal Initiative for Research in IP and Competition (JIRICO). Manveen is also a Ph.D. candidate at JGLS; his research being on the study of the interface of IP and Competition. He holds an LL.M. in IP Law from University College London (UCL), where he was awarded the Master of the Rolls Scholarship and a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree from University Institute of Legal Studies(UILS), Panjab University, Chandigarh. Manveen has published on Criminal Law and Intellectual Property Law in a number of national and international journals and also has a couple of book chapters to his credit. He is actively involved in research and writing and was the recipient of the Award for Teaching Excellence at Jindal Global Law School in the year 2015.
