Jindal Initiative on Research in IP and Competition
Dr. Manveen Singh is an Associate Professor & Associate Dean (Academic Affairs) at Jindal Global Law School (JGLS). He is also the Assistant Director of the Centre for Intellectual Property and Technology Law (CIPTEL). His primary areas of interest are Intellectual Property Law and the Law of Evidence. Manveen completed his Ph.D. from JGLS; his research being on standardization and the licensing of standard essential patents (SEPs). He holds an LL.M. in IP Law from University College London (UCL), where he was awarded the Master of the Rolls Scholarship, and a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree from University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Panjab University. Manveen has published on Criminal Law and Intellectual Property Law in a number of journals and also has a couple of book chapters to his credit. He was the recipient of the Award for Teaching Excellence at the JGLS in 2015.
