JILDEE conducts Online Training Programmes
(JILDEE), in academic collaboration with Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences (JIBS), successfully launched two online programmes of training for central government employees. These programmes were carried out through the licenced application of Zoom video conferencing and securely covered across all locations in India. The Covid-19 disruption required JILDEE to undergo a digital transformation to ensure the continuity in its training programmes.
The two programmes are detailed below:
1. ‘Personal Growth and Team Building’
JILDEE, in partnership with JIBS, collaborated with the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) to conduct a 4-day online training programme on ‘Personal Growth and Team Building’ during 5-8 January 2021. This programme was specially designed for CAG officers. Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev P. Sahni, Principal Director, JIBS, Professor & Member, Governing Body, and Advisor to the Vice Chancellor, was the academic director of this programme. He ensured the right blend of faculty and academic content with relevant real-time case studies in the delivery of the programme.
Lt. Gen. Prof.(Dr.) Rajesh Kochhar, Senior Director, JILDEE inaugurated the programme. All sessions were moderated by Mr. Amit Mohapatra, Joint Director, JILDEE.
The topics covered were, Subjective Wellbeing for Personal Growth, Enhancing Interpersonal Effectiveness through Emotional Intelligence, Managing Conflict, Managing Team, Team Dynamics, etc.
2. ‘Building Interpersonal Skills’
JILDEE, in collaboration with JIBS, conducted an online training programme for officers from National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) and its subsidiaries during 12-15 January 2021 on ‘Building Interpersonal Skills’ .The programme was led by Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev P. Sahni, Principal Director, JIBS, Professor & Member, Governing Body, and Advisor to the Vice Chancellor.
The programme was inaugurated by Lt Gen (Dr.) Rajesh Kochhar, Senior Director, JILDEE. Mr. Amit Mohapatra, Joint Director, JILDEE, briefed participants about the objectives the programme.
There were several topics covered such as Emotional Intelligence for developing Interpersonal Effectiveness, Negotiation and Persuasive Skills, Deciphering Body Language, Effective Communication Skills, Developing Empathy, etc.
