1. One-day training programme on “Fundamental Rights & Duties” for officers of National Fertiliser Limited, Noida
2. Seven-day certificate programme on “Leadership and Management” for District Education Officers and Thromdey District Education Officers
JILDEE organised a 7-day certificate session on “Leadership and Management” for District Education Officers and Thromdey District Education Officers of Royal Government of Bhutan in collaboration of Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences. Dr. Sanjeev P Sahni, Principal Director, JIBS, Professor & Member, Governing Body, Advisor to the Vice-Chancellor was the academic director of this programme. The programme was inaugurated by Lt. Gen. Rajesh Kochhar, Senior Director, JILDEE with a brief introduction of JGU & JILDEE. The session in the programme include Strategic leadership, Performance enhancement, Art of listening, Concept of plagiarism, Maximum human potential, Communication skills & etiquettes etc. A batch of 28 education officers of the Bhutan government participated in the programme. The Valedictory function graced by Ms. Ugen Chozem, Deputy chief of mission, Government of Bhutan, Mr. Dolay Tshering, Education Attache, Royal Bhutanese Embassy, Dr. Sahni and Lt. Gen. Kochhar.
3. Residential training programme on “Public Policy & Governance” for officers of the Government of West Bengal
JILDEE organised a 2-week residential certificate programme on “Public Policy & Governance” for 21 civil service officers of Government of West Bengal in a collaboration with Jindal School of Government and Public Policy (JSGP) & London School of Economics and Political Science, London. The programme consisted domestic leg at JGU campus and a foreign leg in London School of Economics, London. The sessions started with opening remarks by Lt. Col. Rajat Mathur, Joint Director of JILDEE where he discusses briefly on JGU & JILDEE followed by course structure for a full 5 days. After the completion, of course, the valedictory note addressed by Air Marshall Retd Anil Chopra. The course was designed by Dr Krishanu Karmakar who is our faculty with the JSGP. Lt. Col. Mathur accompanied the participants for the foreign leg in London School of Economics as the programme coordinator.
4. Three-day residential programme on “Case Study Methodology” for officers of Coal India Limited at IICM, Ranchi
JILDEE organised a 3-day residential certificate programme on “Case Study Methodology” for the HR officers of Coal India Limited at Indian Institute of Coal Management. The 3-day certificate course was designed with an objective to develop case studies for the organisation. The session was inaugurated by Dr. Akhilesh Singh, General Manager – Academics of Indian Institute of Coal Management (IICM). The participants were briefed by Sidharth Verma, Manager, JILDEE on the overview of the University & JILDEE accomplishment. The session in the programme included Analysing of case studies, how to develop case studies, Identify relevant cases etc. The valedictory function for the 3-day the programme was graced by Dr. Subhash Chandra Mishra- Executive head, IICM & Dr. Asim Talukdar, Professor of management practice & Director of Office of Career service, JGU.
5. Residential training programme on “Public Financial Management” for the officers of the Government of West Bengal
JILDEE organised a 2-week residential certificate programme on “Public Financial Management” for 25 civil service officers of Government of West Bengal in collaboration with JSGP & Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy of the National University of Singapore. The programme consisted domestic leg at JGU campus and a foreign leg in Lee Kuan Yew School, Singapore. The session started with opening remarks by Amit Mohapatra, Joint Director of JILDEE where he discusses briefly on JGU & JILDEE. The course academic director was Dr. Krishanu Karmakar Assistant Professor, JSGP. Mr. Mohapatra accompanied the participants for the foreign leg in Lee Kuan Yew School, Singapore as the programme coordinator.
6. JGU delegation visits Myanmar, 21-25 January 2020
JGU Delegation comprising of Lt. Gen. Dr. Kochhar; Dr. Nehginpao Kipgen, Professor, Jindal School of International Affairs (JSIA); Mr. Rahul Bhandari, Deputy Director, Office of International Affairs & Global Initiatives visited Myanmar from 21-25 January 2020 to carry out the following objectives:
a. Outreach for Executive Education Training Programme for Myanmar Civil Service Officers.
b. Teachers training programme
c. Student exchange
d. Faculty exchange
e. Joint research programmes
They visited the following departments / universities at Myanmar:

22 January 2020 – Meetings at Nay Pyi Taw (Present Capital of Myanmar)
23 Jan 2020 – Meetings at Mandalay
24 Jan 2020 – Meetings at East Yangon University
The meetings were very successful as not many Indian universities have approached the Myanmar Government/Universities to collaborate. The following were the main takeaways from the visit: –
