JGU organises conference on ‘Ethics of Artificial Intelligence: Exploring Pluri-Perspectives’ in partnership with United Nations India
JGU, in partnership with the United Nations in India, organised a first-of-its-kind virtual conference on ‘Ethics of Artificial Intelligence: Exploring Pluri-Perspectives’ during 24-25 May 2021.
JGU Vice Chancellor, Professor (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar, gave the opening remarks at the inaugural session and Professor R. Sudarshan, Dean of the Jindal School of Government & Public Policy, delivered the opening remarks on the second day of the conference.
The discussion included four broad thematic and two inaugural sessions on ‘Ethical AI for Sustainable Development Goals’, ‘Reimagining Humanity’, ‘Morality of Robotics’ and ‘Operationalising AI Ethics from a Pluri-philosophical Lens’. The conference was aimed at opening up avenues for multidisciplinary and intensive debates on the implications of AI in framing a distributionally just society.
