JGU is only Indian university shortlisted in two Times Higher Education Asia Awards 2020.

JGU has been nominated in three categories of the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia Awards 2020, viz. Outstanding Leadership and Management Team; Excellence and Innovation on the Arts; and Workplace of the Year. JGU is the only Indian university shortlisted in two Times Higher Education Asia Awards 2020. It is also the only Indian university to be nominated for the “Outstanding Leadership and Management Team” and “Excellence and Innovation on the Arts” categories.

JGU was nominated for the second year in a row for the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia Awards (2020) during their world broadcast of a first of its kind online award ceremony. THE Asia Awards, launched only in 2019, is an international recognition of outstanding leadership and institutional performance, and celebration of higher education excellence in all of its diversity across nearly 48 nations of the Asian Continent.

In addition, the Jindal School of Liberal Arts & Humanities led by Professor Kathleen Modrowski is the only Indian school to be nominated under the category ‘Excellence and Innovation in the Arts’.
