JGU graduate conquers Khardungla Pass on cycle
Parth Singh, a law graduate from JGU who was also a former President of JGU Sports Society, cycled from his hometown Chandigarh to the second highest motorable pass of the world, Khardungla Pass. He started his journey on July 8, 2021 and conquered Leh, Ladakh on July 19. The 22-year-old is a practicing advocate in the Supreme Court of India.
Cycling at 18,500 ft altitude is not easy. During his journey, Mr Singh has conquered some of the highest passes of the world including Khardungla (18,500 ft), Tanglang La (17,582 ft), Lachung La (16,616 ft), Baralach La (15,912 ft,), Nakee La (15,517 ft,) and Gata loops (15,302 ft.).
