Inside JGU 2020 - Issue 7 (July)

JGU announces Teaching & Research for Intellectual Pursuit (TRIP) Fellowship Programme

As higher education institutions and students continue to navigate the ongoing crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, and keeping in view the challenges faced by its graduating students, JGU has announced a new fellowship programme that aims to provide opportunities for the 2020 JGU graduates.

The Teaching & Research for Intellectual Pursuit (TRIP) Fellowship, for the 2020 Master’s / Ph.D. graduating students of JGU. This new Fellowship aims at providing a unique opportunity to the selected students of JGU to enhance their academic and research capabilities along with the development of teaching capabilities and skills by working in close association with the senior faculty members of JGU.

The TRIP Fellowship will help the students in their overall career progression by providing them pathways in the pursuit of academic careers as TRIP Fellows & Academic Tutors. The university invites them to return to their alma mater and contribute to JGU’s vision of institution building and academic excellence.

The TRIP Fellowship is a two-year programme, which is expected to commence from October 2020 (subject to change and any alternate date that may be notified). The TRIP Fellows & Academic Tutors will be selected through a competitive process from the Master’s students graduating in 2020 and from the Ph.D. students who have successfully completed their thesis defence.
