I am Assistant Professor and Assistant Director, Centre for Penology, Criminal Justice and Police Studies, Jindal Global Law School. I was called to the Bar by the Hon’ble Society of the Inner Temple, London. I also read for Masters in Law at Cambridge where I was an active member of the Cambridge Union.
I have a wide ranging interest in Criminal Justice, Jurisprudence, Law and Literature and Human Rights. I am also interested in public speaking, advocacy and court skills. I am particularly keen on appreciating Law as an interdisciplinary subject- bringing in perspectives, narratives and reflections from Philosophy, Literature, History and other disciplines. I am also very keen on exploring ways to link the academic study of law and practice of the law in different countries.
I am an avid rider and take keen interest in politics, agriculture, polo, shooting and travelling
