Vishal Kumar Rai is serving as a Teaching & Research for Intellectual Pursuit (TRIP) Fellowship & Academic Tutors in Jindal Global Law School. He completed his LLM with specialization in Corporate Law and Financial Law and Policy from Jindal Global Law School and successfully defended his Dissertation titled on “Is the IBC unfair in not allowing Operational Creditors to be a part of the Committee of Creditors?” in June 2020. Recently, His research paper on “Applicability of Competition Law in Agricultural Market” has been awarded as Best Paper Presentation at the National Conference on Competition Challenges in E-commerce organized by Maharashtra National Law University.
Earlier Vishal practiced as an Advocate at various courts in Delhi jurisdiction. He received his B.A.LL.B. from Law College Dehradun, Uttarakhand in 2017. His core focus is Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law, Competition Law and Criminal Law. He is deeply committed to a career in teaching and academic research.
