Prof. Sopuruchi has worked as a lecturer with the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife Nigeria and is member of the Nigerian Law Teachers Association. He has an LLM in Intellectual Property Law from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka Nigeria and an LLM in Environmental Law and Sustainable Development from SOAS, University of London. He is a lawyer called to the Nigerian Bar since November 2013 and has remained a member of the Nigerian Bar Association since then. He has published articles in a number of journals in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Sopuruchi worked as a research assistant for the SOAS Arbitration in Africa Survey, and just recently interned with Amnesty International. He is a member of several international environmental organisations like UKELA and PIEL UK. Sopuruchi also volunteers with Precious Fountain Foundation, an NGO dedicated to providing educational intervention services in defective educational areas. Sopuruchi is passionate about empowering the next generation with education and his hobbies are reading and watching sci-fi movies. Sopuruchi currently lives in London.
