Pranav Narang hold LL.M. degree in International Trade and Investment Law from Centre for Post Graduate Legal Studies, Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) and a LL.B. degree from JGLS. He has worked as an Attorney in Patent department of a boutique Intellectual Property firm based in Noida. He has also interned at policy think tank dealing with areas including Intellectual Property Law, Environment Law, and International Trade Law. During the LL.M. program, he presented a paper “Incentive Structure for Domestic Electronic Manufacturing under TRIPS (Trade Related Aspects of Intellectual Property) Regime” at Conference on International Trade Law organized by Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CITEL) at Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow, where he was award with the third position. His research areas include Intellectual property Law, Competition Law, and International Trade Law. He has keen interest in the economic analysis of the R&D funding policy of the advanced economies and the developing countries, specifically the structuring of R&D subsidies that is consistent with the subsidy regulation under the Subsidies and Countervailing Measures (SCM) Agreement. In addition, he is listed as Patent Facilitator for start-ups by Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade under Start-up India scheme.
