Gauri has completed her B.A. LL. B. from RTMNU’S Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar College of Law, Nagpur in 2016 by securing the 6th order of Merit at University level and a gold medal in the subject Legal Language and writing. She has completed her diploma in Intellectual Property law from the Asian School of Cyber Law, Pune. In 2019 she completed her LLM in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London.
As a lawyer/academician, her commitment to excellence is not only the objective, but it should also be accompanied by honest efforts, along with the skills of researching, litigating, and conversing. Following this recipe of law, at her alma mater she has won several National moot court, debate, and essay writing competitions. She has hands-on experience as a lawyer practicing before Hon’ble Bombay High Court and the District and Sessions Court at Nagpur in both Civil and Criminal matters. To add on she has also worked for a year as a Law Clerk-cum-Research Assistant under Hon’ble Shri. Justice U.U. Lalit at Supreme Court of India. After completing her LLM, she has worked as a Lecturer for the subject ‘Intellectual Property Law’ and ‘International Trade Law’ at Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar College of Law, Nagpur. She has also been invited as a guest speaker for more than 30 online webinars at All India Report (AIR) law Academy, Nagpur.
She is a firm believer in self-improvement and always strives to develop and gain knowledge outside academics. She is an avid sportsperson and has been a compere for several National law events. Her areas of interest are Intellectual Property Law, Arbitration/Alternate dispute resolution, Drafting, Pleading and Conveyancing, and other Commercial Laws.
