Monika has completed her L.L.M. from Queen Mary University, London. She specializes in Corporate & Commercial law and has an interest in Arbitration, IPR, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law, Competition Law for which she has completed various certification courses. She has worked as a trainee at Cassady’s Solicitor’s, London, and has been a mentor for DebateMate. Her dissertation on “Strategic Patenting and Evergreening in Pharmaceutical sector: Competition Law as a panacea” has been published as a book for academic research purposes.
She acquired her Bachelor of Law degree from G.H. Raisoni Law school, Nagpur. During her time at Law school, she undertook responsibility as a committee member of the Moot Court Association and participated in various Moot Court Competitions, Debates, Article writing, and Client Counselling sessions. As a student of Law, she interned with various Law Firms & Solicitors in Nagpur City while gaining exposure at the Hon’ble Hight court of Bombay, Nagpur Bench and Debt Recovery Tribunal. She also has experience working at the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and Hon’ble High Court of Delhi with Chambers of Percival Sam Billimoria along with managing the legal affairs of a start-up named Faito.
She is fond of teaching and has actively been part of various education campaigns like Teach for Ladakh and Rotary club (Nagpur) contributing her two cents to make sure literacy reaches the remotest of places
