She has served in the past as the Executive Director of The Red Cycle; a grassroots movement aimed at spreading Menstrual Health Awareness and has been key in organising sessions, projects, and campaigns regarding the same. She was also the co-founder and writer at The Urban Marxists, an Instagram-Medium based political blog. She has done her internships in Apne Aap Women Worldwide (Kolkata & Forbesganj), Human Rights Law Network (Delhi), the Calcutta High Court under Senior Advocate Amalendu Mitra and the Supreme Court of India under J. Ranjan Gogoi. She also has field work experience in the Maharashtra State Commission for Women.
Areas of Interest & Research Inclinations
Areas of interest include women’s rights, gender justice specific with Right to Health, Environmental law, and Jurisprudence. She finds desk research is interesting and can spend her entire day working on her system, but would any day prefer living with the research participants and collect primary data from the ground.
Loves to play with dogs and cats, cleaning utensils and taking long strolls alone with some music.

She has worked as a Menstrual educator and trainer from 2015 till 2020 and was instrumental in conducting numerous sessions and has also organized campaigns and projects around imparting menstrual education to people belonging to different age groups. She has experience in conducting intensive field research with varied communities and participants, such as women belonging to Bagariya tribe in Ajmer, women sugarcane cutters from Beed district, Maharashtra, adolescent students from Kerala and Karnataka as part of different campaigns, projects, etc. and has also assisted colleagues in conducting field research with Warli tribe in Aarey Forest, Mumbai. She also singlehandedly raised funds from different colleges and fundraising points in Mysore for the Kerala Floods in 2018.
