Karan has obtained his Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Laws in Honors (B.Com.LL.B.) degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2019. He has completed his Master in Laws (LL.M.) in Access to Justice with special focus on rights of the marginalized sections of society from Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS), Mumbai in 2020. His LLM dissertation on ‘Interface between Adivasi and Criminal Courts’ specially focused on the most marginalized section on Indian Society i.e. Tribal People. He has interned with Human Rights Commission, Legal Service Authority and advocates, and is enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana.
His research interest includes Criminal Justice System and Rights of the Marginalized Sections.
