Prof. (Dr.) Charu Sharma holds a BSc, LLB, LLM from University of Delhi, India and did her PHD from Macquarie Law School, Sydney, Australia. She also holds a diploma from Center for Environmental Law, World Wide Fund For Nature India and is a member. Currently a Professor, Associate Dean (Student Initiatives) and Executive Director, Center for Environment and Climate Change at School of Law, OP JINDAL GLOBAL UNIVERSITY, SONEPAT, HARYANA, INDIA. She teaches tort law, environmental law and Natural Resources law and is chair of the Scholarship Committee. Previously she has practiced in the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court and trial courts. Before joining OP Jindal Global University she lived and taught in Hong Kong for over fifteen years.
