Bhavya Singh is a Teaching & Research for Intellectual Pursuit (TRIP) Fellow & Academic Tutor at Jindal Global Law School. She completed her B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. from Chanakya National Law University, Patna. She specialises in Constitutional and Administrative Law and wrote her dissertation on ‘Legal Battles Over Religion: India’s Secular Dilemma’.

Hailing from a lineage of four generations of lawyers and judges above her, Ms. Singh was practising at the Patna High Court where she worked for the State of Bihar. Her areas of practice were Criminal and Constitutional Law. She is experienced in drafting, pleading and researching.

Her research interests lie in contemporary questions of human rights, especially the rights of minorities.

She enjoys travelling and exploring the culture, art and cuisine of different places and people. She also an avid reader and particularly enjoys reading the classics of English Literature.
