I am Ankit Dhotrekar. I work at JGLS as an Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean of Admissions and Outreach. While my admission into LL.B. was more an accident than a conscious choice, it was during this course at the University of Delhi that I discovered my interest in the study of law. In particular, I was fascinated by the interface between law and the social sciences. Having, thus, found my passion for teaching and research, I pursued an LL.M. in Access to Justice from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. I started teaching in early 2018 for the judicial service exams through my own coaching institute. Later in 2018, I joined Bennett University as an Assistant Professor. Over a span of nearly 3 years at Bennett I taught primarily the law of crime and the law of evidence. Apart from these disciplines, I relish studying and teaching legal and logical reasoning. With a background in pure sciences and computer science, I try to use technology generously in my pedagogy. Also, I enjoy uploading videos to the internet on various topics of law for aspirants, students and graduates of law. When not teaching , researching or making video lessons, I like to play cricket , listen to music and to cook.
