Biography

Shivani Narayan has completed her PhD from the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur. Her thesis is titled 'Essays on Systemic Risk.' Her Ph.D. focuses on measuring systemic risk in the Indian economy, assessing the systemically important financial institutions, assessing interconnections between Indian and global financial institutions, and evaluating the policy requirements to attain stability in the financial system. She has publications in ABDC: A and B category listed peer-reviewed journals. She has presented her work at several national and international conferences. Her research interests include systemic risk, extreme risk measurement, and management.

Before her Ph.D., she completed her MBA from Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna, where she earned a scholarship for her academic performance and was awarded a gold medal. She has 1.5 years of corporate and academic experience.
