SPEAKER BIO: 
Dr. Chahat Maru is an Assistant Professor in Marketing at Jindal Global Business School. She holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi, and her research focuses on Consumer Behavior, Brand Personality, and Consumer Psychology. She has published in reputed journals like the International Journal of Consumer Services and the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice. Prior to her academic career, she also worked in the VLSI Service industry for two years.

ABSTRACT: 
Consumer conflict and incivility can drastically affect online brand advocacy by eroding trust and discouraging consumer engagement. In the age of social media, these negative experiences are amplified and can damage brand reputation and loyalty. This session will delve into how brands can manage consumer conflict and create a respectful digital community to safeguard and enhance online advocacy.
