Biography

Dr. Shreya Mukherjee is an Assistant Professor at O.P. Jindal Global University, with research interests in E-Commerce, Human-Computer Interaction, E-Governance, and Business Analytics. Her research focuses on contemporary digital technologies and their impact on individuals, organizations, and society.

Dr. Mukherjee has published research in reputed international journals, including the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Information and Computer Security, and Transforming Government: People, Process and Policy. Her published work addresses contemporary issues such as barriers to Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) adoption, privacy challenges in FemTech applications, and barriers to the digitalization of electronic health records in India. She has also presented her research at prominent international academic conferences, including the Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS) and the INFORMS Annual Meeting in Atlanta, USA.

Dr. Mukherjee has received several academic awards and distinctions for outstanding academic performance. She was ranked among the top 1% in the West Bengal Higher Secondary Examination, securing State Rank 34. She was the Departmental Topper in Mathematics in her B.Sc. in 2020 and subsequently the Departmental Topper in her M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from IIEST Shibpur, graduating with a CGPA of 10/10. She received the Prof. S. C. Dasgupta Gold Medal for securing 1st position in the M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics Examination (2022), the Arun Chandra Mitra Memorial Gold Medal for securing 1st position in the M.Sc. Examination (2022), and the Ganesh Chandra Mitra Gold Medal for securing 1st position in the Post Graduate Examination (2022).
