Biography

Shivani is a Lecturer at Jindal Global Business School. She holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Business Economics from Gargi College, Delhi University, and an M.Com from Jamia Millia Islamia University. In 2019, she served as an Adhoc Assistant Professor in the Commerce Department at Gargi College.

Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the Centre for Rural Development and Technology, IIT Delhi, with her research centered on a multi-stakeholder analysis of the sanitation entrepreneurial ecosystem in India. She has presented her work at esteemed conferences such as Recycle 2023 at IIT Guwahati and the Rural Entrepreneurship Conference 2024 at the University of Leeds, UK.

As a grassroots researcher, Shivani engages deeply with rural communities. Her research interests encompass the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), impact entrepreneurship, women entrepreneurship, and the circular economy.
