Biography

Rya Ray is an Assistant Professor at JGBS in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. She earned her Ph.D. in Organizational Behaviour at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. She is engaged in multiple research projects and enjoys teaching. Her doctoral research explores the phenomenon of multiple jobholding and its impact on performance. Rya has maintained a consistent record of academic excellence and also brings significant professional experience from her roles in human resources and technology across esteemed organizations such as Atos, Hindustan Zinc Ltd., Cisco Systems India Pvt. Ltd., Deloitte USI Consulting, and Nomura. These experiences have provided her with a broad perspective on organizational dynamics and employee management, which enriches her teaching and research.
