Roopendra Roopak is a doctoral scholar in the Marketing area at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur, with a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. His research focuses on the dynamics of human needs and online customer engagement in community-based platforms. Along with marketing management, he has also explored various other domains of management through his studies.
Prior to his PhD, he worked as a Marketing Associate, collaborating with leading IT multinationals, including Adobe, Cisco, and Oracle. He has presented his research at renowned international and national conferences, such as the ISMS Marketing Science Conference and POMS International.
His current research interests include online customer engagement, digital storytelling, and the gig economy. He has a keen teaching interest in Digital Marketing and Marketing Analytics.
