Biography

Rajanish Chandra is a doctoral scholar in Operations Management and Quantitative Techniques at the Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya. His academic work focuses on operations and supply chain management, with particular emphasis on strategic risk management, behavioral operations, and sustainability in complex market settings. His doctoral research examines decision-making challenges in grey and counterfeit markets, addressing issues related to pricing, quality, channel conflict, and consumer Behavior under uncertainty.

His academic interests span Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Behavioral Operations, Risk and Resilience, Sustainable Operations, and Business Analytics. Rajanish is trained in a wide range of analytical and quantitative methodologies, including optimization, game-theoretic modelling, simulation, and structured literature review techniques. His research has resulted in publications in peer-reviewed international journals, as well as several manuscripts currently under review in leading journals in operations and logistics. His work has also been presented at national academic conferences and has received recognition through a Best Paper Award at a doctoral research conference.

Rajanish’ s teaching orientation aligns with contemporary management education that emphasizes analytical rigor, conceptual clarity, and real-world relevance. He is equipped to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Risk Management, and Sustainable Operations. His pedagogical approach integrates theoretical foundations with quantitative reasoning and applied examples to support structured problem-solving and informed managerial decision-making.

In addition to teaching and research, Rajanish contributes to the academic community through journal reviewing, conference participation, and institutional service, reflecting sustained engagement with scholarly development and academic practice.
