Biography

Dr. Sneha Kadyan is a sociologist and sustainability scholar with over a decade of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership across India and the United States. She is currently an Assistant Professor in Sociology at Jindal Global Business School, O.P. Jindal Global University, where she leads initiatives in internationalisation, communications, and academic outreach.

Dr. Kadyan holds a PhD in Sociology from Colorado State University and advanced degrees from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, India. Her teaching spans courses on gender and society, corporate social responsibility, business ethics, and sustainability, where she integrates critical sociological perspectives into management education. She has consistently received high student evaluations and is committed to experiential, interdisciplinary, and globally engaged pedagogy.

Her research sits at the intersection of sociology, sustainability, and global development, with a focus on how institutions, markets, and technologies shape inequality and justice. Her work has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes, addressing themes such as gender-based violence and legal systems in India, ethical consumption, fair trade, and labor conditions in global supply chains. More recently, her scholarship has expanded to examine the sociotechnical dimensions of emerging technologies, including AI infrastructures, and their implications for governance, power, and inequality in the Global South.

Dr. Kadyan has received multiple awards for her research, including Best Paper Awards and international recognitions, and has actively contributed to global academic collaborations, conference leadership, and institutional partnerships.
