Biography

Nitesh Kumar is a dynamic researcher and professional whose journey reflects a rare blend of academic excellence, practical expertise, and social commitment. Currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Management Studies at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Nitesh has dedicated his research to advancing knowledge in production management, municipal solid waste management, optimization, and the integration of AI and machine learning into sustainable practices. His academic path has been marked by distinction, with prior degrees from IIT Delhi and Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jhansi, and a consistent record of achievement in national-level examinations such as GATE, CAT, and NSTSE.

Professionally, Nitesh has served as Project Manager at Rollz India Waste Management Pvt. Ltd., where he successfully collaborated with municipal authorities to improve recycling and segregation rates, demonstrating his ability to translate research into impactful real-world solutions. His teaching assistantships at IIT Delhi and IIT Roorkee further highlight his passion for education, mentoring students in subjects ranging from CAD/CAM to supply chain management.

Beyond academics and work, Nitesh has actively contributed to society through projects sponsored by ICSSR, focusing on ease of doing business and frameworks for smart city waste management. His extracurricular pursuits whether captaining his college football team, volunteering for Swachh Bharat Mission, or running marathons to promote democracy and fitness showcase his holistic personality.

With multiple research publications in reputed journals and recognition such as the Best Research Poster Award at IIT Roorkee, Nitesh Kumar stands out as a scholar, leader, and changemaker committed to building sustainable futures through innovation, education, and community engagement.
