Biography

Dr. Sarthak is a passionate academic and educator committed to shaping the next generation of business leaders through excellence in teaching, research, and curriculum development. He presently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Jindal Global Business School (JGBS), O.P. Jindal Global University (Institution of Eminence Deemed to Be University). Prior to this, he has contributed to various academic institutions, including Manipal University Jaipur, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (Ghaziabad), and Kandivali Education Society, gaining diverse teaching and institutional experience.

He holds a PhD in Operations and Supply Chain Management from IIM Mumbai, along with an MTech in Manufacturing Technology from NIT Jalandhar and a BTech in Mechanical and Automation Engineering from GGSIPU Delhi. This strong blend of engineering and management education enables him to bring analytical rigor, systems thinking, and industry relevance into the classroom, enriching the learning experience for students across management programs.

Dr. Sarthak’s teaching and research interests primarily span operations management, supply chain management, and strategic management. His scholarly work has been published in reputed international journals such as the Journal of Computational and Cognitive Engineering, Journal of Modelling in Management, Operations Management Research, IEEE Access, and Benchmarking: An International Journal. 

In addition to his academic contributions, he has demonstrated strong technical competence by securing an All-India Rank of 4626 (97.6 percentile) in the GATE examination (2018) and successfully clearing the ISRO Scientist examination in Mechanical Engineering. He actively seeks opportunities for academic collaboration, interdisciplinary research, and meaningful engagement at the intersection of management and technology, with a strong commitment to academic excellence and practical impact in business education.
