Biography

Sakshi Narula is an Assistant Professor at the Jindal Global Business School in the Social Sciences and Humanities Department. She completed her PhD in Economics at the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, specializing in banking, finance, and market discipline. She holds a Master of Technology degree from the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi. Prior to her doctoral research, she has teaching experience at the Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur. She was a recipient of the GATE scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and qualified the NET conducted by the University Grants Commission.

Her scholarly contributions include two publications in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals, both classified as A-grade in the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) journal quality rankings. Her research has been supported through competitive funding, including the Research Excellence Travel Grant from the Office of International Relations and the Research and Scientific Travel Award from IIT Delhi, enabling her to present at international academic conferences.

Her research focuses on banking and financial intermediation, market discipline and depositor behaviour, game-theoretic frameworks in finance, central bank digital currencies, and applied econometric methodologies. Her work employs a combination of empirical techniques and theoretical modelling to investigate the interplay between depositor behaviour, institutional risk-taking, and regulatory policy frameworks within the financial sector.
