Biography

Dr Himanshu Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics at the Jindal Global Business School, O. P. Jindal Global University. Prior to joining JGU, he served as an Assistant Professor at Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida. He completed his Ph.D. in Information Technology and Systems from the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur, MTech. in Computer Technology and Applications from NITTTR Bhopal, and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering.

His research interests span Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Business Analytics, and Information Systems, with a focus on developing AI-driven solutions for business decision-making and sustainability. His recent work explores computer vision adoption, explainable AI, forecasting, and digital transformation. Dr Sharma has published in reputed ABDC-listed and peer-reviewed journals, presented his research at national and international conferences, and serves as a reviewer for leading journals in information systems and business analytics. His teaching interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Predictive Analytics, and Spreadsheet Modelling.
