Biography

Diksha Mittal is a Ph.D. Scholar at the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. Her doctoral research is focused on banking, with a particular emphasis on loan loss provisions, credit risk management, policy uncertainty, and financial reporting in the banking sector. She is a recipient of the prestigious UGC-NET JRF (2020) and UGC-NET SRF (2024) awards.

She holds a Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com) from the University of Delhi and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com Honours) from Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi.

She has authored several research papers published in and under review with reputed international journals. Her work has been presented at leading national and international conferences, including the Rutgers-ATP India Accounting & Finance Symposium held at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, and the International Conference on Financial Markets & Corporate Finance (ICFMCF) hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad.

In addition to her research pursuits, she has contributed to teaching and academic content development as a Teaching Assistant for multiple NPTEL courses offered by IIT Kanpur, including Advanced Algorithmic Trading and Portfolio Management, Advanced Financial Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence for Investments. Her responsibilities included assisting in course design, preparing weekly assignments, handling learner queries, and supporting evaluation processes.
