Biography

Dr. Dhulika Arora is an Assistant Professor of Finance and Accounting at Jindal Global Business School (JGBS), O.P. Jindal Global University, where she also serves as Senior Associate Dean in the Office of Career Services (OCS), Jindal Global Business School. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, along with an M.Phil. and M.Com. from the Department of Commerce, University of Delhi, and a B.Com. (Hons.) from Janki Devi Memorial College, University of Delhi.

Dr. Arora’s research primary focuses on shadow banking, non-banking financial institutions (NBFIs), corporate leverage structures, systemic risk, and organizational resilience within emerging market economies (EMEs). Her work has been published in internationally reputed, peer-reviewed journals, including Emerging Markets Review (ABDC 'A'), China Accounting and Finance Review (ABDC 'A'), and the South Asian Journal of Management (ABDC 'C'). She is also a recipient of a competitive research grant from the Goa Institute of Management to investigate the impacts of economic shocks on the Indian MSME sector. She regularly presents her research at global finance forums, including the World Finance Conference (Norway and Lithuania) and the Vietnam Symposium in Banking and Finance. Prior to joining JGBS, Dr. Arora built extensive teaching experience across premier institutions in India, including Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Gargi College, SGTB Khalsa College, and IIT Delhi.
