Biography

Aishwarya Rajeev is an economist working on questions of gender and development, time-use, and public policy. She holds B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD). Prior to joining Jindal Global Business School (JGBS), she was Research Lead (Economics) at Global 50/50, Cambridge, an international think tank working on key issues in global health and justice. She was also part of a British Academy-funded project on time-pressures and green behaviours at Liverpool John Moores University. She has undertaken consultancy roles with a diverse set of organisations such as International Development Economics Associates (IDEAs), Institute of Social Studies Trust (ISST) and Institute for What Works to Advance Gender Equality (IWWAGE).
