Biography

Anushka is a Lecturer at the Jindal Global Business School, O.P. Jindal Global University. She is completing her PhD in Public Policy and Management at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. She earned her master’s degree in Geography from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Prior to that, she completed her undergraduate degree in Geography from Patna Women’s College, Patna University. She is a recipient of a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) granted by the UGC (2018). Her research interests encompass Law and Society, State Informality, Governmentality, Practice Theory, Public Policy analysis and policy reforms. Her doctoral research examines the everyday functioning of the subordinate judiciary in Bihar, focusing on the interface between formal legal frameworks and their material and procedural enactments.
